@FacetiousGaming Slide tool slides which section of video you’re using in a clip without changing the clips duration or position. If you have clip B between clip A and clip C, use the slide tool and watch how it slides which portion of clip B is in that edit. Then use the slip tool and observe what it does. It’s really hard to explain what it does with words.

On the left? You mean the top? At least for Adobe video and sound programs. That is for CS5 I don’t know about 5.5.

@consolima ae is for adding effects, compositing and motion graphics…
premiere is for the final edits of your film projects, where you put all your clips together into one long piece.
